Knowing that I wanted a 2013 avalanche LTZ, I was able to determine via internet which dealers had the vehicles equipped the way I would like. After stopping at a few dealerships, I knew exactly what I wanted, as well as what my trade was worth. Then I contacted several of the dealerships which had my target vehicles. Many dealers would not even entertain preliminary negotiations over the phone, and I did not wish to drive dealer -to- dealer, so I concentrated on those sales people willing to. After emails and phone calls with Bob Taylor's salesmen, I made the 1 1/2 hr drive down, and purchased my new truck that day. When I know what vehicle I want, and it is a brand new vehicle, you really should be able to come close to agreement ( or disagreement ) over the phone...time is valuable. Dealing with Bob Taylor personnel ( Greg Mitchell & Jim Gilliam ) ultimately meshed perfectly with this concept, and I will gladly do business with them again.
